Children grow fast, but their safety shouldn't be compromised. The Sidekick features two strategic sizes designed specifically for young riders, ensuring optimal protection from toddler to tween. Each helmet comes with two interchangeable pad set options: use the 12mm pads if your child falls at the lower end of the fit range and needs a snugger fit, or use the 6mm pads if your child falls at the upper end of the fit range and needs more space.

Amazing fit anf quality
I wish there was a size S for as my child grows, but still rides on the back of my e-bike.
After backing this product on Kickstarter, Ozmo was kind enough to send me a couple of early versions of this helmet to use while I brought my cargo bike on a road trip from Texas to Colorado with my son and all his cousins.
The helmets worked great throughout the trip on guys/girls of all ages. I've used a fair number of kid's helmets and these received the least complaints about comfort of any before. Plus, even after these clumsy kiddos dropped them several times, they look brand new!
Now that we've been home commuting with the helmets for months, they are still holding up just as well as new. I don't know of another eBike-rated helmet for kids, and certainly none that are this well-made.

My (2 year old) son's review: big special green helmet, no pinch.
With the cold weather insert, this is the only piece of headware that keeps his ears warm that he's willingly worn. It sits comfortably on his head and is well balanced and provides much better coverage than his prior cheap toddler helmet. Kid loves it and I know its keeping him safe.
